ROUTES Rental Cars at Chicago Airport

Once you have arrived at Chicago O’Hare Airport, please be sure to collect all your personal items before continuing to the car rental center. To find the Routes Car Rental desk, you will need to head downstairs, outside the baggage claim area, and follow the signs for the shuttle bus.

The shuttle bus can collect you at the following points:

• In Terminal 1: Door 1G
• In Terminal 2: Door 2E
• In Terminal 3: Door 3G
• For International flights: Terminal 5: Door 5B

Once you have arrived at the Car Rental Centre, you will need to call to request to be collected.

The Routes Car Rental shuttle bus will then pick you up at Door 3.

The Routes Car Rental Office at Chicago Airport is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Routes Car Rental offers a wide range of vehicles to hire, from economy to compact, standard to SUVs, and even luxury vehicles. They also offer cargo vans for hire from certain locations, should you need to haul a big load.

The minimum age of the rental driver is 21 years old, and the maximum age is 74. Those renting must provide a valid driving license as well as a major credit card in their own name. The card provided must be the same as that used to book online. Payment in cash is not accepted. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are all accepted.

When hiring a vehicle from this location, customers must provide a valid return itinerary.

Unlimited mileage is offered for travelling with the hired vehicle within the state. If travelling outside of the state, mileage is limited to 200 miles per day. The maximum mileage for any rental agreement is 2500 miles.
